Application review

What we evaluate together.

The right fragrance direction depends on more than scent preference.

Rinse-off or leave-onIdentify the product's intended use before selecting a fragrance and documentation category.
Base and dosageEvaluate scent and compatibility in the finished base at intended loading.
Allergen reviewRequest a formula-specific disclosure aligned with destination-market needs.
Common questions

Before sampling begins.

Are shampoo and body lotion fragrance requirements the same?

No. Product use and regulatory category can differ; each should be reviewed against its own base and intended market.

Can I request an allergen declaration?

Yes. The declaration scope is confirmed for the selected fragrance formula and requested market.

Can I test a sample before ordering?

Sample format, quantity, cost, and freight are discussed after reviewing your fragrance brief.

Can I submit a soap or hand-wash fragrance brief?

Yes. Identify bar soap, liquid hand wash or the other cleansing format, then share the base, preparation conditions, target dosage and scent direction. Do not assume that a fragrance evaluated in body wash is already suitable for a different cleansing base.

Application and supply details

Add the details behind personal care.

Beyond the category name, tell us how the base is made and used. Soap, hand wash, shampoo and lotion should each have their own sample and review record, even within one coordinated product range.

Soap and hand-wash fragrance

Specify bar soap, liquid hand wash or another cleansing format, along with the base, pH range, addition stage and preparation conditions. Describe scent in the pack, during washing and after rinsing. Clarify colour and appearance requirements before selecting samples.

Discuss soap or hand wash →
Shampoo, conditioner and body wash

Share the individual base for each item in the range and identify the intended rinse-off routine. A shared scent direction can guide development, while fragrance loading, appearance and in-use evaluation remain specific to each formula. Use the technical briefs above for application-level details.

Discuss a rinse-off range →
Lotion and a coordinated care range

For lotion, identify the emulsion base, intended leave-on use, application amount and target market. If the scent should match a wash or shampoo, submit those products as separate briefs. Request documentation for the selected formula and intended use, rather than relying on the scent name alone.

Discuss your application
