Application review

What we evaluate together.

The right fragrance direction depends on more than scent preference.

Delivery systemIdentify device, reeds, wax, spray carrier, or cleaning-product base.
Use conditionsConsider temperature, diffusion method, dosage, packaging, and intended environment.
Claims and complianceAgree on measurable claims separately; documentation is matched to formula and intended use.
Common questions

Before sampling begins.

Can one fragrance be used in both a candle and diffuser?

Possibly, but suitability is not assumed. The wax and diffuser carrier should each be evaluated at the intended dosage and use conditions.

Do fragrance oils remove formaldehyde?

A pleasant scent is not evidence of formaldehyde removal. Any removal claim needs independent, product-specific substantiation.

Can you supply IFRA information?

A formula-specific IFRA conformity statement can be discussed for the relevant use category.

Are fragrance oil and essential oil interchangeable terms?

No. Describe the material you need rather than assuming a natural origin from a scent name such as lavender or sandalwood. A fragrance direction does not establish botanical composition, purity or organic status; any such requirement needs formula-specific supporting information.

Application and supply details

Turn a scent idea into an application brief.

A hotel scent, a candle collection and a dishwashing liquid may all start with a fragrance idea, but their delivery and evaluation records should remain distinct.

Hotel and commercial-space scenting

For a signature-scent project, describe the space, scent character, diffuser model and operating schedule. Vanilla and sandalwood are examples of generic scent directions to discuss. Confirm the supplied oil format and device compatibility; a room description alone does not establish coverage or duration.

Candles, reeds and ambient fresheners

Lavender and fruit notes are examples for a candle brief; choose the direction alongside the wax, wick and vessel. For reeds, share the carrier and reed assembly. For a solid air freshener, identify the substrate and release format. Evaluate each delivery system separately, even when the scent identity is shared.

Dishwashing and other cleaning products

Describe the dishwashing detergent or other cleaner base, use concentration and rinse or drying routine. Record the desired scent during use and afterwards. A fragrance selection is separate from evidence for cleaning, disinfecting or odour-removal performance of the finished product.

Discuss your application

Bring the base. We can discuss the fragrance.
